All transactions are processed in GBP.
VAT is included in the price displayed for customers purchasing from within the European Union.
If you require a VAT receipt, please send an enquiry and we will arrange for this.
All measurements, where relevant, are included in product descriptions. Due to the handmade nature of products, they may vary within a commercial tolerance.
The highest amount of care has been taken to ensure photography shows an accurate representation of the product you’re buying. Please bear in mind that screens do vary in colour, so your screen may not show a true representation of the product on sale. If in doubt, please get in touch with us before purchasing to discuss.
If you'd like a larger or smaller print than listed please also get in touch and we can arrange a bespoke price for you.
When making a purchase, you will be given the option to sign up to our mailing list. We intermittently send emails when there are new products or news to share, however at any time you can click the link to ‘unsubscribe’. Please kindly note that your email addresses and personal information are kept securely and not sold on to any third parties.
Where possible, we will post orders out within 2-3 working days.
Postage time is to be considered on top of this. For standard UK post this is 2-3 working days.
If you select and pay for tracked delivery, the tracking information will be given to you via email when your order is dispatched so that you can keep an eye on delivery.
For UK customers, if you have not received your order within 5 working days of it being dispatched (not the order date) please get in touch with your order number. Please bear in mind that if the postal service cannot deliver it, it may be returned to the left in a safe place or with a neighbour, or returned to the depot.
If your item is order is unable to be received at the postal address, then it may be returned to the Royal Mail depot to be collected by the customer. Items need to be collected within 14 days, or they are automatically returned to sender. If this occurs, then we will need to charge an additional postage fee to resend your item.
Designs, products and photography used on foreign-birds.com remain the property of Kinga Krzymińska and Maciej Krzymiński and must not be used or replicated without prior written permission.
DELIVERY & RETURNS
Please allow 7-10 working days for your order to be made and posted.
Once your order has been made and dispatched, please allow the following time for postage:
UK First Class - 1-3 days
Europe Standard Shipping - 5 working days
Rest of the World Standard Shipping - 1-2 weeks
When ordering, please ensure that the address on your confirmation email is correct. We cannot accept any responsibility for delivery if the incorrect address is provided. If you notice a mistake on your order, please get in touch with the studio immediately, quoting your order number, the incorrect address and where you would like the order shipping. Providing that it has not yet already been dispatched, we will be able to make the necessary changes.
We work hard to create high quality products, however if for any reason you're not happy with your order, please get in touch with us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will give you details of how to return the item(s) for either an exchange or refund. Items must be returned in a saleable condition within the packaging they arrived in.

What do we do with the information we gather?
Information is gathered so that we can make and send your order out to you as efficiently as possible, and keep you updated during the process. Information regarding purchase history and your route to purchase allows us to understand how customers behave and see how we can improve our services.
When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.
We do not pass your information on to anyone, and without your consent, you will not receive any further marketing emails from us. We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.
If you do opt to sign up for our mailing list, at any time you can opt to ‘unsubscribe’ or get in touch to have your details removed or amended.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your payment details, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return an order, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.
For our mailing lists, all subscribers are sent an email to confirm their consent before any newsletters are sent.

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfil contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.
We host our online shop on Format.com. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products to customers. All your data is stored through Format's data storage, databases and the general Format application. All data is stored behind a firewall on a secure server.
Payments are supported by PayPal, at the checkout you will be directed to PayPal website to complete the transaction.
If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Format stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.
All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.
PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, paypal accounts), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

Social media is a big part of how we let you know about or products and meet our customers.
If you interact with us on social media, you are consenting and allowing us to interact with you.
By tagging us, you are consenting that these images may be used royalty free without limitation, however we will always seek permission before reposting.

We hold all your information on our system, however at any time you can contact us to request removal. When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

By using this site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your minor dependents to use this site.
If our store is acquired or merged with another company, your information may be transferred to the new owners so that we may continue to sell products to you.
